My name is Dwayne Bandy, and I've been working with chainmail since the early 90's. Darksong Metalworks is the culmination of my experience and training in the craft. I pride myself on the quality of my work, and strive to bring that quality to every piece I produce.

I'm Fighting Texas Aggie Class of '99 and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science and am now studying under Dr. McIntosh for my doctorate in Nutrition.

The name "Darksong" is actually derived from the origins of my first name. A little research revealed that "Dwayne" can be derived from the Gaelic for "dark" or from the Celtic for "song." I've also seen it derived from "meadow," something like "wagon maker," and I'm sure there are others. With these to choose from, I went with "Darksong." It seems to work.
